Shruti Hassan despite springing in some memorable performances has not been able to convert her efforts into commercial successes. Gabbar Singh at last has ended the drought and by God, she is delighted that she needn't have to wait anymore.
A relaxed Shruti now says that her contribution behind her portrayal is the basic aspect she considers while working for a film. In fact, she states that she has been lucky enough to enact diverse characters in her films. She acclaims that this is what her father had told her always.
However, she maintains that the failures of her films can't be blamed on her alone, conveying that she did give her best in the opportunities to make the film work. Even in the case of Gabbar Singh, she doesn't wish to grab much of the credit but is satisfied that she has worked as a beneficial factor in ensuring the victorious run of the film. Self satisfaction is the way to go girl!
