Samantha in Shankar's film

Samantha is truly going places. Indeed, the way she is bagging all the big films and most coveted projects is amazing. Apart from six bi films currently in her kitty including auteur Manirathnam's film, she has also now bagged the biggest of all. She is the heroine of South India’s top director Shankar in his new film opposite Vikram.  This yet to be titled film is to be produced by Aascar Ravichandran (who also produced Shankar and Vikram's earlier film - Aparachitudu, which was a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh) and A.R. Rahman would be providing music. Shankar has completed the scripting process and is now scouting for locations.  And for the first time in his career, Shankar is going to work with renowned cinematographer by P.C Sreeram. The movie will also be made in Telugu simultaneously and regular shoot commences very soon.
